You inspire us

Thrown out of her own house at the young age of 20 by her abusive husband, she resorted to begging.

While she was begging for survival, she found her mission: to care for orphan children.

From taking care of a few orphans, to becoming the “mother” to over 1500 orphans, Sindhutai Sapkal charted a path that shows what it means to be a human. If that is not what a true saint is made of, I don’t know what is.

Sindhutai Sapkal, also known as Mai, passed away this morning.

Let us pray that she will inspire a million more people to “be human”;   and to care for other beings; may she inspire a million people to create a happy, healthy, loving society.

May all beings be in peace.
