The Bhoomi Puja for the construction of our school buildings was performed on the auspicious day of 15^th August.

The day was auspicious on three counts. It is the birthday of Sri Aurobindo, among the inspiring visionaries of modern India, apart from his concepts on education that have continued to influence generations of progressive teachers and schools. It was also the day of Raksha Bandhan, symbolising love, emotional bonds, commitment and trust. It is also our Independence Day, reminding us of the holy principles of our great nation, every year reinforcing the resolve that we must live up to the great ideals and aspirations of the freedom fighters who dedicated their lives for the empowered future of our children.

The confluence of sustainable and holistic development of the child, with love, trust and mutual respect, alongwith commitment to the nation thus create the foundation of our school’s principles and purpose – and we are lucky we could begin this auspicious venture on this date.

The construction is due to be completed by April 2020, in time for our first classes in the summer of 2020.
