The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has announced a calendar for Student Enrichment Activities for 2025, designed to foster holistic development and provide students with a platform to explore their interests and talents. Here is the list:

The Circular further asked. School heads are encouraged to motivate their students to participate enthusiastically in these enrichment activities and make the most of these opportunities for growth and self-discovery.

The CBSE is organizing the Science Challenge 2025-26 for students of Classes VIII to X, and the theme is Science, Environment, and Sustainability. The challenge comprises two stages:

Round One (School Level):

  • Schools must register the number of participating students on the Science Challenge Portal (https://cbseit.in/cbse/2025/scicomp/login.aspx) using LOC credentials between April 11th and 17th, 2025.
  • The school will conduct Round One using a MCQ-based paper available on the portal from April 21st to 25th, 2025.
  • Schools will identify and subsequently register 6 students (2 from each of Classes VIII, IX, and X) for Round Two on the portal between April 28th and May 2nd, 2025.

Round Two (Inter-School Level):

  • A computer-based challenge will be conducted by the CBSE for registered students between May 5th and 9th, 2025.
  • Detailed modalities for Round Two will be communicated to participating schools.

Participation is free. Round Two participants will receive online certificates, and top performers will be awarded appreciation certificates. Schools are encouraged to facilitate student participation. For clarifications, schools can contact [email protected].
