This is to formally announce regarding the “Sapnon Ki Udaan” e-magazine, an initiative of the Department of School Education and Literacy, Ministry of Education, Government of India. Following the successful launch on August 23rd, 2024, and as a continuation of CBSE circular Acad 82 dated September 23rd, 2024, CBSE is delighted to share that “Sapnon Ki Udaan” will now be published monthly, commencing from May 2025.

The theme for the upcoming May 2025 edition is “Food and Cuisines of India.” CBSE encourages students and teachers to explore the diverse culinary of our nation and submit their original entries in both Hindi and English, with a limit of one best entry per language per school.

CBSE requests all Principals to disseminate this information widely among students, teachers, parents, and staff members, encouraging enthusiastic participation in this enriching initiative.

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has announced the exciting CBSE Pre-Subroto Cup Football Tournament 2025, paving the way for talented school teams to compete in the prestigious national-level Subroto Cup.

The ‘Subroto Mukerjee Sports Education Society’, under the aegis of the Air Force Sports Control Board, annually organizes the esteemed ‘Subroto Cup Football Tournament’, a unique platform where champion school teams from across India’s States and Union Territories showcase their sporting prowess. This year, CBSE-affiliated schools will also have the opportunity to participate through the newly announced CBSE Pre-Subroto Cup Football Tournament 2025.

This pre-tournament will feature competitions in the following age groups for both zonal and national levels:

Girls (Under-17)
Boys (Under-15)
Boys (Under-17)

The National Winner teams from the CBSE Pre-Subroto Cup will earn the opportunity to participate in the main Subroto Cup Football Tournament 2025, organized by the Air Force Sports Control Board.

Here are some important points for schools to note:

Registration Fee: Each participating team needs to remit a registration fee of ₹ 2,000/- (Rupees Two Thousand only) online to the Subroto Sports Control Board at www.subrotocup.in.
Accommodation and Meals: Participating teams will be required to pay ₹ 500/- per head per day to the organizing school for their accommodation and meals.
Rules and Regulations: All interested schools are advised to thoroughly review the rules and regulations of the Subroto Cup, which are available at https://www.subrotocup.in/.

Calling Schools to Organize!

Schools interested in organizing the CBSE Pre-Subroto Cup Football Tournament 2025 at the zonal or national level can apply online at https://cbseit.in/cbse/2024/sports/Login/Index_subroto until 3:00 PM on May 1st, 2025.

The tentative dates for organizing these tournaments are between May 10th, 2025, and June 10th, 2025.

Schools that are selected to organize the CBSE Pre-Subroto Cup will receive a Sports Grant of ₹ 2 lakh for zonal level tournaments and ₹ 3 lakh for national level tournaments.

Interested schools should register their teams for the ‘CBSE Pre-Subroto Cup Football Tournament 2025’ at https://www.subrotocup.in/register under the ‘CBSE’ (Institution Category).

After successfully registering, please send a confirmation email to the CBSE organizing venue schools. The list of venue schools and the specific dates of the tournaments will be shared shortly, so keep an eye out for further updates!

Klorofeel School conducted a Summer Theme Activity on April 21st, 2025 for Classes 1 and 2 by the Symphony Team. The Students discovered how to stay safe from scorching heat with umbrellas, sunglasses, and hats. A highlight was the lemonade-making session, followed by a heartwarming sharing moment with KG children. Here students from Class 1 & 2 made lemonade and invited KG Students to the stall and buy it.

The “Lemonade Stall” introduced basic money concepts as children bought and sold the refreshing drink. Important lessons on hygiene and the downside of sugary drinks were also shared, promoting healthy choices like homemade lemonade. The Circular further asked. School heads are encouraged to motivate their students to participate enthusiastically in these enrichment activities and make the most of these opportunities for growth and self-discovery.

The CBSE is organizing the Science Challenge 2025-26 for students of Classes VIII to X, and the theme is Science, Environment, and Sustainability. The challenge comprises two stages:

Round One (School Level):

  • Schools must register the number of participating students on the Science Challenge Portal (https://cbseit.in/cbse/2025/scicomp/login.aspx) using LOC credentials between April 11th and 17th, 2025.
  • The school will conduct Round One using a MCQ-based paper available on the portal from April 21st to 25th, 2025.
  • Schools will identify and subsequently register 6 students (2 from each of Classes VIII, IX, and X) for Round Two on the portal between April 28th and May 2nd, 2025.

Round Two (Inter-School Level):

  • A computer-based challenge will be conducted by the CBSE for registered students between May 5th and 9th, 2025.
  • Detailed modalities for Round Two will be communicated to participating schools.

Participation is free. Round Two participants will receive online certificates, and top performers will be awarded appreciation certificates. Schools are encouraged to facilitate student participation. For clarifications, schools can contact [email protected].
